BotanicaClean, with the document to show it
Clean has no single definition, so each oil carries its own. Every oil here is phthalate-free and paraben-free, declares its allergens, and carries a CMR statement. Where an oil's page shows it meets Clean at Sephora, Target Clean, EWG or EPA Safer Choice, the table further down marks it. Those are the oil's published statements; your retailer's program decides the finished product.
Your ceiling, on every oil
A face cream, a body lotion and a wash are each their own IFRA category, and each oil's IFRA sheet states the ceiling for every one. Those figures sit on the oil's page beside its flash point and its allergen statement, dated and sourced. The numbers for all 72 are in the table further down, for when you're comparing.
Common questions
Can these go in facial skincare?
Yes, within the ceiling on the oil's IFRA sheet for face products, which sits below a body lotion's. The table has both side by side.
Are these oils safe for skin?
Used under the ceiling on its IFRA sheet for your product's category, yes; that is what the IFRA Standards define as safe use. The IFRA Category Lookup Tool names your category.
What goes on my ingredient label?
Parfum, plus any allergen the oil declares that is above threshold at your concentration. Each oil's allergen statement lists them with their share.
What makes an oil fit a clean beauty program?
The documents. Each oil's page shows which clean standards it meets and publishes its allergen and CMR statements. The clean fragrance page explains each claim with the document behind it.
Will it discolour a white cream or a clear gel?
Some oils warm a white base over time, and a clear gel is a test at your dose. What brands found in their own bases is on each oil's page.
Can you compose a clean scent that is only ours?
Yes. Private Stock composes an original fragrance to your brief, with the same perfumer.

Who makes these oils
Every oil here carries the name of the perfumer who composed it. Our perfumers are a small, hand-picked group who work to one standard, set by Cécile Hua. Each oil is compounded in the United States to its reference, checked batch by batch, and released with a Certificate of Analysis.
Every oil's numbers for cosmetics: IFRA skin maxima, allergens, retailer standards, documents
Each figure is transcribed from the oil's own documents and page as served on October 27, 2026: the IFRA 51st Amendment Regulatory Data Sheet (the maximum for each product category, and the EU Annex III allergens it declares), the Safety Data Sheet (flash point) and the compliance flags under Compliance and claims on its page (a tick means the page shows it compliant with that standard). Category 5A is body lotion, 5B face products, 9 rinse-off soap and body wash. An IFRA maximum is the ceiling for that category, not a usage recommendation; the typical rates our Fragrance Oil Calculator publishes are 1–2% for lotion and 1–3% for washes. A dash means the sheets do not give that figure.

Can these oils go into other products?
Yes. The same oil scents a candle, a soap, a lotion, a perfume or a room, within the ceiling its IFRA sheet gives for that product category. The sheet lists all twelve categories; the table above carries the ones this page's brands read first.
Are they suited to a small launch and a larger one?
Both. Buy by the ounce to test and by the pound to produce, with no minimum and no lead time. Every batch is compounded to the same reference and released with its Certificate of Analysis, so what you sampled is what you scale.
Where do I find the IFRA and SDS documents?
On each oil's page, dated, and linked in the table above: the IFRA sheet, the Safety Data Sheet and the allergen statement. For a combined file or a document not shown there, use our document request page. To read further, our fragrance education pages.
What cosmetics brands tell us

- Boudoir · Robin S. · September 2026 · made personal care, candles, cosmetics, laundry & cleaning · “I can't keep my body wash, lotion and oils in stock! Everyone LOVES this fragrance! One of my customers says that he burns this candle to get rid of the fish smells when he cooks, lol!”
- Hibiscus · Loretta R. · September 2026 · made perfume, cosmetics, personal care, laundry & cleaning · “So pretty and fresh. It isn't an overwhelming floral that triggers some of my fragrance sensitivities.”
- Lust · Tiffany H. · August 2026 · made cosmetics · “I used this fragrance in my whipped shea butters and it was a hit! I have many ladies that tell me they put it on a night which pairs well with a beautiful piece of lingerie. 😉”
- Lust · Roro · June 2026 · made perfume, cosmetics, personal care · “Ive had this one for a couple years now because I bought a big one and didn’t want to run out in case they didn’t have it again. It smells just as fresh and potent as it did the first time I opened it <3”
- Cerulean · STANISLAV C. · April 2026 · made cosmetics · “I used this for perfume body mist and received great feedback”
- Jetsetter · Tiffany H. · April 2026 · made candles, cosmetics · “This was a blind buy and I can't be more thrilled about it! This is a unique fragrance that I consider unisex. I absolutely love it!”
- Botanica · Much L. A. · March 2026 · made perfume, cosmetics, personal care, laundry & cleaning · “This is a very nice botanical scent without that "bite". I would put this more in the family of Chlorophyl and Heb Garden. Think more, date night Botanical Garden.”
- Plant-Based Sunkiss · Diana M. · March 2026 · made cosmetics, CP soap · just right strength · “This is a perfect take on all things citrus with a touch of sweet! My nose picks up blood orange, grapefruit and just a little sweetness. Very fresh and refreshing! Especially nice for a face scrub or a lightweight lotion for summertime.”
