Sensual & Addictive Fragrance Oils

Our sensual and addictive fragrance oils are finished compositions — top, heart and base already in place — formulated by perfumer Cécile Hua, for perfume, body care and home fragrance that people come back to. Musk, amber, warm woods and a gourmand or floral heart, built so the base lingers for hours and people lean in: the scents a signature perfume, a body oil or an evening candle is made from. Every oil is available by the ounce or pound with no minimum, no lead time. Tell us what you're making, or browse.

What makes a scent addictive

An addictive fragrance is one the wearer keeps noticing: a warm base of musk, amber, resins or woods that lasts, a heart that is slightly sweet — vanilla, tonka, a creamy flower — and a top that gets out of the way. These oils are composed on that arc, and on each oil's page, perfumers and brands among our customers say what they made and how long it wore.

Your ceiling, on every oil

A perfume, a body oil and a candle each have their own ceiling on the oil's IFRA sheet, dated and sourced on the oil's page beside its flash point and its allergen statement. The table further down lists the ceilings for all 45 for when you're comparing.

Common questions

Which of these last longest on skin?

The ones with the heaviest base: musk, amber, labdanum, sandalwood. On each oil's page, brands that wore it say how long it lasted; the base notes are listed there too.

Are they for men or for women?

Neither. A warm, lingering scent is worn by anyone; our customers put the same oil in a men's beard oil and a women's body butter. The gender question is one we have written about.

How strong should a sensual candle be?

Start from the candle rate on our Fragrance Oil Calculator and stay under the oil's candle ceiling in the table further down; a heavy base throws slowly, so give the test candle an hour.

Do they work in a body oil or a roll-on?

Yes, and this style suits an oil base best: musk and amber sit close to the skin and wear long. The perfume ceiling applies; it is in the table further down.

Will a dark base discolor a white product?

Vanilla and amber materials can brown a light lotion or soap over days. Each oil's page carries brands' own reports on colour; a test in your own base settles it.

Can you compose our signature scent?

Yes. Private Stock composes an original fragrance to your brief, by the same perfumer, and it stays yours to reorder.

Who makes these oils

Every oil here carries the name of the perfumer who composed it. Our perfumers are a small, hand-picked group who work to one standard, set by Cécile Hua. Each oil is compounded in the United States to its reference, checked batch by batch, and released with a Certificate of Analysis.

Every oil's numbers for sensual products

Each figure is transcribed from the oil's own documents as served on its page on October 27, 2026: the IFRA 51st Amendment Regulatory Data Sheet (the maximum the oil may be used at in each product category, and the EU Annex III allergens it declares) and the Safety Data Sheet (flash point). An IFRA maximum is the ceiling for that category, not a usage recommendation; the typical rates brands start from are published on our Fragrance Oil Calculator. A dash means the sheets do not give that figure.

Can these oils go into other products?

Yes. The same oil scents a candle, a soap, a lotion, a perfume or a room, within the ceiling its IFRA sheet gives for that product category. The sheet lists all twelve categories; the table above carries the ones this page's brands read first.

Are they suited to a small launch and a larger one?

Both. Buy by the ounce to test and by the pound to produce, with no minimum and no lead time. Every batch is compounded to the same reference and released with its Certificate of Analysis, so what you sampled is what you scale.

Where do I find the IFRA and SDS documents?

On each oil's page, dated, and linked in the table above: the IFRA sheet, the Safety Data Sheet and the allergen statement. For a combined file or a document not shown there, use our document request page. To read further, our fragrance education pages.
