EWG Compliant Fragrance Oils

Our EWG compliant fragrance oils are finished compositions — top, heart and base already in place — formulated by perfumer Cécile Hua, for clean beauty, skincare and personal care that answer to EWG guidelines. Each one is built from materials chosen against the ingredient criteria the Environmental Working Group publishes, so a brand selling into a clean-beauty retailer or a verified line can scent its product with a sheet to show for it. What EWG alignment means for a fragrance

EWG rates ingredients, not finished fragrances. An EWG compliant fragrance oil is one composed only from materials that clear its ingredient criteria, so the fragrance line on your ingredient list carries no material a reviewer would flag. Every oil on this page was composed that way from the first draft, and its allergen statement and Safety Data Sheet say what is in it.

Your ceiling, on every oil

Alignment with EWG guidelines says what an oil is made of; its IFRA sheet says how much of it a lotion, a serum or a soap may carry. That figure sits on the oil's page beside its flash point and its allergen statement, and the table further down lists it for all 36 for when you're comparing.

Common questions

Does EWG certify a fragrance oil?

No. EWG rates ingredients and verifies finished products. These oils are composed from materials that clear EWG's ingredient criteria, which is what a verified product's formulator needs from the fragrance line. The oil's allergen statement and Safety Data Sheet are the documents a reviewer reads.

Can I use one in an EWG Verified product?

Brands do. The verification is yours, on the finished product; the fragrance contributes its materials, each one chosen against EWG's criteria, and its documents. If your reviewer asks for a statement we do not post, ask for it through document request.

How much can I use in a lotion or a serum?

The oil's IFRA sheet gives the maximum for body lotion and for face products; the table further down lists both for every oil here. The typical starting rates are on our Fragrance Oil Calculator.

Are these also phthalate-free, vegan and cruelty-free?

Every oil we make is. The claims each oil carries are on its page under its documents, and our standards page lists every claim with the oils behind it.

Which allergens will I have to declare?

Each oil's allergen statement lists the EU Annex III allergens it contains and their share, so your label follows from your dosage. The table further down shows how many each oil declares.

Can you compose one for our brand to these criteria?

Who makes these oils

Every oil here carries the name of the perfumer who composed it. Our perfumers are a small, hand-picked group who work to one standard, set by Cécile Hua. Each oil is compounded in the United States to its reference, checked batch by batch, and released with a Certificate of Analysis.

Every oil's numbers for EWG-aligned products

Each figure is transcribed from the oil's own documents as served on its page on October 27, 2026: the IFRA 51st Amendment Regulatory Data Sheet (the maximum the oil may be used at in each product category, and the EU Annex III allergens it declares) and the Safety Data Sheet (flash point). An IFRA maximum is the ceiling for that category, not a usage recommendation; the typical rates brands start from are published on our Fragrance Oil Calculator. A dash means the sheets do not give that figure.

Can these oils go into other products?

Yes. The same oil scents a candle, a soap, a lotion, a perfume or a room, within the ceiling its IFRA sheet gives for that product category. The sheet lists all twelve categories; the table above carries the ones this page's brands read first.

Are they suited to a small launch and a larger one?

Both. Buy by the ounce to test and by the pound to produce, with no minimum and no lead time. Every batch is compounded to the same reference and released with its Certificate of Analysis, so what you sampled is what you scale.
