I will agree with other reviews that this one is quite camphorous and dare I say medicinal OOB. Which isn’t a scent family I tend to gravitate towards. However, this is another one that absolutely blooms in wax. I always test stock fragrances at 7.5% unless it seems lighter OOB. This is one I may up the % ever so slightly but the camphor element really calms and makes way for a lovely nature leaning fragrance. My family and I love to hike and it reminds me of winter and early spring hikes in our beloved Ozarks before the leaves come on. A truly beautiful fragrance.

The overall notes are too camphorous leaning for me (scent is subjective) therefore I won’t be adding it as a primary scent in candles but it would be a good blender to add fresh notes. Initial testing: 9%, coconut wax, wood wick, vegetable dye, 3” wide 10oz vessel, and it burned clean and highly fragrant The quality of Stock Fragrance can’t be beat! Even when I test a fragrance and it doesn’t work out for my personal preference, I’m always impressed with the quality of the product and the integrity of this company.

This fragrance was great to work with. No acceleration at 3% when soaping at room temperature and slowly blending to light trace. Used a 1.75:1 water:lye ratio with clays for color and was able to pour a beautiful swirl with two colors. I didn't leave any soap uncolored so can't speak to discoloration. I'm bad at describing scents but I thing it's a subtle evergreen with a sweet mint that is balanced and not overpowering.

Just leaving my CP soap performance notes in here. I tested this one at 4%, while the IFRA maximum for category 9 is 25%. I experienced moderate acceleration, batter became thick upon contact with the fragrance and was completely solid within 10 minutes. I was able to get it into my mold smoothly but had to move quickly in order to do so. Has a medium scent retention, and discolored every so slightly to a cream post cure. It smells lovely, and very fresh.

If you’re looking for that evergreen, fir needle, walking through the forest in the PNW smell, this is it. It’s fresh and wonderful! The hints of eucalyptus really transform it.
