A fine fragrance needs a clean opening, a heart that holds and a base that wears for hours. These oils are composed with that arc and work in alcohol and in oil — eau de parfum, cologne, body mist, roll-on or solid. On each oil's page, perfumers among our customers say what they made and how it wore.
Your ceiling, on every oil
Each oil's IFRA sheet states how much of it a fine fragrance may carry. That figure sits on the oil's page beside its flash point and its allergen statement, dated and sourced. The numbers for all 72 are in the table further down, for when you're comparing; once you've chosen, the oil's own page is where to read them.
Common questions
Can I wear the oil as it is?
No — it's the concentrate. Dilute it in alcohol or a carrier oil, within the ceiling on its IFRA sheet. Typical starting rates are on our Fragrance Oil Calculator.
Alcohol or oil?
Both. Alcohol gives lift and a clear top; an oil base wears closer and longer. The ceiling is the same either way.
Which IFRA category am I in?
Perfume, cologne, solid and oil perfume are one category; body spray and deodorant are another. The IFRA Category Lookup Tool names yours by product type.
How long will it last on skin?
It depends on the base notes, your concentration and your base. The surest guide is what other brands report on the oil's page.
What goes on my EU or UK label?
The allergens the oil declares, above threshold at your concentration. Each oil's allergen statement lists them with their share, so your label follows from your formula.
Can you compose one for our brand?
Yes. Private Stock composes an original fine fragrance to your brief, with the same perfumer.

Who makes these oils
Every oil here carries the name of the perfumer who composed it. Our perfumers are a small, hand-picked group who work to one standard, set by Cécile Hua. Each oil is compounded in the United States to its reference, checked batch by batch, and released with a Certificate of Analysis.
Every oil's numbers for perfume
Each figure is transcribed from the oil's own documents as served on its page on October 27, 2026: the IFRA 51st Amendment Regulatory Data Sheet (the maximum for each product category) and the Safety Data Sheet (flash point); the review columns count the verified buyers on the oil's page who said they made perfume with it and the strength they reported. Category 4 is fine fragrance (perfume, cologne, aftershave, oil and solid perfume), category 2 deodorant and body spray, 5A body lotion; the full twelve-category list is on each oil's IFRA sheet. An IFRA maximum is the ceiling for that category, not a usage recommendation; the typical rates brands start from are on our Fragrance Oil Calculator. A dash means the documents do not give that figure or no buyer has said so yet.

Can these oils go into other products?
Yes. The same oil scents a candle, a soap, a lotion or a room, within the ceiling its IFRA sheet gives for that product category. The sheet lists all twelve categories; the table above carries the three a perfume brand reads first.
Are they suited to a small launch and a larger one?
Both. Buy by the ounce to test and by the pound to produce, with no minimum and no lead time. Every batch is compounded to the same reference and released with its Certificate of Analysis, so what you sampled is what you scale.

A starting formula for perfume
A professional eau de parfum at a 25% fragrance dosage, by weight: alcohol 40B 66.63, fragrance oil 25.00, de-ionised water 8.37. Age the oil two days. In a stainless vessel with propeller agitation add the oil, then the alcohol and water; cover and mix one to four hours until uniform. Seal and age at least three days. Chill to 0–5 °C and recirculate through a 0.5–1.0 micron filter, holding the temperature. Submit to QC before filling. The dosage is a formulation target, not a ceiling: check the oil's IFRA sheet for your category first.
