Olfactive Illusion

Also made this in a lotion and it is beautiful. I'm currently exploring multiple fragrances from StockFragrance, and I thought I'd share my impressions as I go. I've personally found it incredibly valuable when others post their detailed notes, and I hope my observations can be equally helpful to anyone else considering these scents. I'm aware some may have different experiences but, I truly believe that sharing our individual experiences, even if they vary, is incredibly valuable for everyone! FORMULATED 03-25-2025 – RICE BRAN & CASTOR OIL ONLY - I TESTED A TOTAL OF 9 DIFFERENT SF OILS (Soaped between 90F-95F) ( USED 6% SF OIL OF TOW) a. This has potential to ACCELERATE. I noticed the batter becoming very thick to where I thought I would have to scoop out. It still poured but barely. b. NO Discoloration. * 04-17-2025 – SCENT RETENTION – ALL scents used in this section blossomed. I was a little doubtful as the scent was not very strong after 24 hrs then 1 week however, I was pleasantly surprised on the intensity of scent almost one month later. * Current date: 05-13-2025 - Unfortunately this faded but you can still detect a slight scent. I used this soap for the very first time today and the scent was not present on the skin.

Alkaline with bitter almond and floral top notes. Complex. It grows on you.

This is another unique, yet kind of fresh male scent. Can’t wait to see what I can mix this with. Smells good.

I used it in cold process soap, and it soaped beautifully. Did a Luna swirl with no problems. The scent has mellowed into a beautiful soft blend. I might go a little stronger next time as I have room to do so with this fragrance. This fragrance is unlike any other as is all the fragrances I have tried. I love them all!

I know it's all in the name but this scent is so hard to pin down and I love it! It seemed pretty strong OOB so I only used it in a shampoo bar at 1% and it lost most of its more complex elements and just ended up smelling soapy. Not at all unpleasant and not the fault of the fragrance! That was just user error/not accounting for the strong detergent smells of SCI and SLSa. I'll be bumping it up to its max percentage on my next attempt.

A really unique blend-- I love the unisex aspect and how it balances warm/cool vibes. Easily my favorite so far of the Stock fragrances I've tried!

This is a clean, soapy yet sophisticated scent. I didn't love it initially because it smelled too much like soap in my opinion. But gradually it has grown on me and I have come to love it quite a bit.

I used this fragrance for oil and alcohol based perfume. I thought I wouldn't be able to use it for the alcohol based perfume at first because it was cloudy upon initial contact. I happened to check back on it 2 days later and it was crystal clear even after shaking which let's me know it just needs a bit more time to dissolve. Other than that, this is one of my favorite scents! It makes me feel charged up, focused, and ready for business.

Olfactive Illusions caused me to burst out in a fit of laughter. I felt like I was being toyed with because every time I felt I had a gauge on what I was smelling , I would pick up on something completely different. All these olfactive constrasts still result in a strong compostion that is alot of fun.
