Plant-Based Cabane

I just poured my first batch of candle samplers with an assortment of fragrances from this company. Cabane was the first of 8 flavors. I bought it because I loved Henri Bendel’s back in the day. This scent is the real deal.

If you are looking for a rich smoke-fireside type scent this is a great choice.

Love that the smokey smell of this smells like a really good hardwood. It has some other nicely paired notes too. Will have to play with some Redwood and Bourbon Vanilla blends.

This is amazingly strong at 9% (coconut wax), there are plenty of smoke types but not many have hickory smoke notes. So happy that it’s plant based.

I had high hopes for this scent but it did not make the cut. I used in in a coconut/beeswax blend. The cold throw was non existent and the hot throw not much better. The smokey, leathery scent was nice but just not strong enough. This may do well mixed with another scent like bourbon vanilla.

WOW, you really do rich & luxurious well! I have always gravitated towards woods, smoke, leather, and tobacco type fragrances. This is just so rich and complex. I still can not believe it is plant based. At first whiff it is very smoky, but it evolves quickly into a very complex mixture of aged leather, hints of fine tobacco, with an almost boozy edge. Just absolutely beautiful. The fragrances I have previewed are truly unique and so very sophisticated. I am a small niche formulator, never wanting to be large. Please offer 4oz./or 6oz. sizes. I like to offer many unique and ever changing scents but it would take me a couple years+ to go through a pound.

I’ve been making campfire scented candles since 2015 and often times the fragrances are so putrid, they turn my stomach. I had high hopes for Cabane after a recent purchase from Stock and I was NOT let down. I will be replacing all of my smoke FO’s with this in my blends. It is realistic and not off putting and actually blends perfectly. Thank you so much!!

Wow this is incredible. I’ve tried “fireside” type fragrances from other brands and they are usually too much of something artificial. But THIS one, I mean wow!!

I added photos of the top and underside of the soap. Working with this aroma, I had to work fast using four colors - which was quite brave. I would say this is perfect for the masculine man. However, as a woman, I would not mind showering in this! It's present, woody and bold. I feel like I'm right next to the fire. I soaped with this at 3%, and that's good enough for me. It would help if you worked quickly with this, as it will seize the soap seconds after mixing. It might also be the ingredients I used, so I will try again with a more fluid recipe and see how that goes. ***Always make a sample. I will be buying this again and again for my soaps.

This fragrance is unique in its note blend. I would say it’s a love/hate fragrance because it will either provoke an immediate like for it or it will immediately turn you off. I love it! And I hope my candle buyers will too.

So far I 've only smelled it from the bottle, but I love it's deep charred hickory smoke scent that reminds me of being in the open air cooking over a fire. It's delightful. I can't wait to try it in wax.

The scent is perfect for what I’m after I just wish that it had stronger hot throw. I’ll see if I can go up to 12% in my wax and if that’ll make a difference currently testing it at 10%.

I don't know how you did it but somehow you managed to put the fragrance of my fireplace inside a bottle. No need to explain just keep it up! It's smoke, it's ash, it's fire but it's not too strong... all of it, just perfect. Upon opening my 1oz samples some of this scent got onto my finger along with Sandstone and neither myself or my husband could stop smelling my finger (hehehe). I plan on blending this with some of the other scents I ordered and I am confident it will work out very well. This is definitely one you should keep in your inventory.

This is the closest that I have found that smells like a true campfire. It is very strong on cold sniff and at first I wasn't sure about it...but the more I smelled it the more it takes me back to camping in the fall and sitting around the fire. Definitely give this one a chance.
