As such, some of our oils might darken over time - this is totally normal and natural and will NOT affect the character or performance of the fragrance.

I grew up in deep South, about an hour South of Atlanta, Georgia. I lived In a town called, Sharpsburg.
like the lucky few, in a grand style mansion of a home.
Living right up against my Southern Antebellum house,
Was a Magnolia Tree easily 20 foot high and 8 to 10 feet round. Starting out a small planted bush, it must have grown up right by this glorious house for at 50 to 75 years before I was even born.
In the long summer's it was so so hot and oppressively humid that my wooden framed window had to be opened.
And to my great benefit of happiness, the upper middle of that tree was right by my 2nd floor bedroom windows.
Late At night when the crickets chirpped and the frogs bellowed while they chased them, I was there flipping and flopping whilst trying to ignore my uncomfortableness so I could escape the devil's weather and hopefully fall to sleep and dream of winter. The air was as still as it was drowning wet and as I was at my most miserable, the charged highly pressurized air would seemingly waltz right into my window where That dreamy steamy essential oil rose up off the entire magnolia tree into my room to dance around as I fell asleep and dreamed beautiful dreams.
Oh, I would wake up a soppin wet sleepy head w hair stuck to my face, and my body stuck to the bed sheet that damp but smelling like Magnolia tree heaven.

I personally liked this scent -- I found it refreshing and botanical. However, my testers provided mixed feedback. Some thought it was citrus, others thought it smelled masculine, and yet another person thought it smelled like PineSol. We didn't end up using it.

Most other magnolia scents are heavy on the fruity element, but this has just the right amount of sweetness. It really reminds me of being in the little town of Magnolia Springs near the coast of Alabama. It accelerated slightly, but I had plenty of time for a 2 color hanger swirl with my CP recipe. I used it at 3.5% and it's not too strong or too light.
